Stanton officially became the city’s 52nd mayor Tuesday after being sworn into office by former Arizona Gov. Rose Mofford.

Sinema to resign seat for shot at 9th District

Maricopa County Supervisors choose Wilson as their chairman

The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors has unanimously elected West Valley Supervisor Max Wilson as its 2012 chairman.

The county’s five-member governing board on Tuesday bypassed Supervisor Fulton Brock as its leader for the second year in a row.

The board informally rotates the one-year chairmanship among Republican members, who hold a majority.

Republicans make final effort before Iowa caucus vote

One candidate made an appearance with the world’s largest tractor. Another showed up with the Duggars, the nation’s most famous large family. There were two Pauls in Des Moines and six Romneys in Davenport.
